C1 Staffing is hiring a Registered Dietitian I for an ongoing contract assignment with one of our client partners, a 431-bed academic medical center in Saint Louis, MO. The role pays $29.90 per hour on a Monday through Friday daytime schedule, with potential to convert to hire for the right candidate.
In this position you will provide direct nutrition care to patients across a variety of specialties in a busy academic hospital setting, working side by side with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians. It is a strong fit for a dietitian who enjoys acute care, complex nutrition support cases, and a collaborative team environment.
What you will do:- Complete comprehensive nutrition assessments for patients across a variety of specialties- Develop and deliver medical nutrition therapy aligned with each patient's plan of care- Manage enteral nutrition support, including formula selection and ongoing monitoring- Manage parenteral nutrition support in coordination with the medical team- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team on patient goals and progress- Reassess patients and adjust nutrition interventions as clinical status changes- Document all nutrition care accurately and in line with facility standards- Communicate nutrition recommendations clearly to patients, families, and clinical staff
Schedule and pay:- Pay is $29.90 per hour, paid weekly- Overtime is paid at $41.86 per hour- Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM- Averaging 40 hours per week- Intermittent Saturday coverage as needed- Ongoing contract assignment with potential to convert to hire
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Current Registered Dietitian credential- Clinical experience in an acute care or hospital setting preferred- Working knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and enteral and parenteral nutrition support- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with an interdisciplinary care team- Comfort working in a fast-paced academic medical environment- Ability to move throughout patient care units and spend extended periods on your feet during rounding and assessments- Attention to detail in clinical documentation
