Warehouse Associate — San Diego, CA
C1 Staffing is hiring a Warehouse Associate in San Diego, California to load and unload trucks, prepare furniture for delivery, and keep the warehouse organized and accurate. This is gig, shift-based work that may continue on an ongoing basis, and you are paid weekly.
What you will do:- Load and unload trucks with care, handling each piece to prevent damage and making sure items are placed properly on the truck and in the warehouse.- Pick, stage, and prepare products for delivery or transfer so orders are ready to move on schedule.- Clean, repair, and wrap furniture so it is rental-ready or properly protected for storage.- Assemble furniture pieces and verify they are complete and in good condition before they go out or go back on the floor.- Tag, store, and relocate inventory in the warehouse, keeping product in its correct location.- Conduct cycle counts and help maintain accurate inventory records.- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse, including work areas, aisles, and staging zones.- Follow all safety guidelines, take part in safety meetings, and complete daily warm-ups before starting work.
Schedule and pay:- Gig, shift-based assignment that may be ongoing depending on business needs.- Weekend shifts may be required based on business needs.- Paid weekly by C1 Staffing.
What you will need:- Must be 18 years or older.- Ability to walk and stand for the length of the shift in a warehouse environment.- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.- Comfort handling furniture and other bulky items carefully to avoid damage.- Willingness to follow safety procedures, attend safety meetings, and complete daily warm-ups.- Attention to detail for tagging, staging, and cycle counting so inventory stays accurate.- Must be able to complete E-Verify employment eligibility verification.
