Janitors and Cleaners - Austin, TX
C1 Staffing is hiring Janitors and Cleaners for shift-based cleaning work in Austin, Texas, with pay at $16.00 per hour. We have 8 openings on this assignment, and the work may continue on an ongoing basis for people who show up and do the job well.
What you will do:- Pick up trash and loose debris throughout assigned indoor and outdoor areas- Collect and sort recycling and move it to the correct containers or collection points- Empty garbage cans, replace liners, and transport full bags to the designated disposal area- Sweep floors, walkways, and other assigned surfaces to keep them clear and presentable- Clean and restock restrooms, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors- Keep janitorial carts, supplies, and equipment organized and ready for the next shift- Report spills, damage, safety hazards, or low supply levels to the onsite supervisor- Follow all site rules and safety instructions while working in shared and public spaces
Schedule and pay:- Pay is $16.00 per hour- Paid weekly- Gig and shift-based work that may be ongoing- 8 workers needed for this assignment
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Able to be on your feet for the length of the shift, including walking, standing, bending, reaching, and stooping- Comfortable lifting and carrying trash and recycling bags and pushing a janitorial cart- Willing to clean restrooms and handle trash and recycling as a regular part of the job- Attention to detail so that assigned areas are left clean and orderly- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions from an onsite supervisor- Dependability and on-time arrival for every scheduled shift
