Production Associate (10:30 AM to 7:00 PM Shift) — St. Peters, MO 63376
C1 Staffing is hiring a Production Associate to help process and manufacture pizza dough at a refrigerated food production and distribution facility in St. Peters, MO (63376). This is a full-time, ongoing position paying $20.50 per hour, with weekly pay.
What you will do:- Rotate through specialized line positions throughout your shift, including dough maker, dough bot, dough placer, tray washer, and cross/down stacker- Determine the correct batch recipe, then gather, measure, and mix ingredients, and make sure dough is delivered into the rounder- Record batch data, maintain the proofing library, and work toward achieving and maintaining dough certification- Perform metal detector checkups and dough temperature monitoring, documenting findings accordingly, and check sifter tailings on time- Change dough sizes on the dough divider, metal detector, JLS (dough bot), and ink jet as needed- Monitor equipment and make interventions through the HMI, and troubleshoot automated equipment such as the stacker, dolly loader, and tray buffer- Organize dough by size inside the dough cooler, confirm print quality on trays, and load trays onto the conveyor for cleaning- Monitor tray wash gauges and settings for water pressure, water temperature, and detergent levels, conduct titration or chemical testing as needed, and record results- Clean and sanitize production equipment and work areas, and report any irregularities to the supervisor or manager
Schedule and pay:- $20.50 per hour, paid weekly- Full-time, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM shift- Ongoing, career-type assignment
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Ability to work with yeast and flour products- Comfortable standing and walking for long periods, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs, and pushing product- Ability to work continuously in refrigerated conditions of 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit; the facility is strictly refrigerated to maintain food safety standards, so dress warmly and bring your own layers such as a heavy hoodie or coat- Willingness to work in an environment with exposure to loud machinery when necessary- Steel-toe boots are required; the role also involves wearing food production PPE such as ear plugs, washdown boots, lab coat, hair net, beard net, gloves, safety glasses, and safety vest- Openness to cross-training in warehouse or sanitation areas- Must be able to complete E-Verify employment eligibility verification
