C1 is hiring an experienced Senior Cook for a short-term contract assignment with one of our clients in Plano, TX.
This is a five-day engagement running October 5 through October 9, 2026, with shifts from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. and approximately 16 hours for the week. Pay is $25.19 per hour, with overtime paid at $35.27 per hour.
What you will do:- Prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items- Support breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, plus special and catered events- Work accurately and efficiently to meet timing and presentation standards for each meal period- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work station throughout your shift
What we are looking for:- Prior professional cooking experience across multiple meal periods- Comfort working in a fast-paced kitchen with catering and event volume- Ability to stand, move, and lift for the length of the shift- Reliable attendance for the full assignment window
Uniform requirement: black slacks and a black shirt.
