Position Overview:As a Cook 1, you will play a vital role in our kitchen by accurately and efficiently preparing, portioning, cooking, and presenting a variety of hot and/or cold food items. This includes meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special or catered events. Your culinary expertise will ensure that every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook a diverse range of food items for different meal periods.- Portion and present dishes in an appealing manner.- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with food safety regulations.- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and communication.- Adhere to recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards.
Qualifications:- Previous cooking experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is preferred.- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when necessary.- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely meal preparation.
Compensation:- Competitive pay rate of $19.91 per hour.
Shift Information:- Full-Time position.- First Shift hours.
