Position SummaryDomino’s Supply Chain is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Yard Driver to supporttransportation and warehouse operations. The Yard Driver is responsible for repositioningcompany commercial tractors and trailers within designated non-highway yard areas,backing trailers into dock doors, and supporting warehouse operations to ensure efficientloading and unloading activities. This role may also require shuttling tractor-trailers to andfrom logistics or leasing providers.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesTractor & Trailer Operations● Safely reposition tractors and trailers throughout the yard and to assigned dockdoors.● Perform trailer backing maneuvers safely and efficiently.● Shuttle tractor-trailers to and from logistics suppliers and leasing companies asneeded.● Transport trailers for washing and cleaning services.● Assist with backhaul operations when required.Safety & Equipment Inspections● Conduct daily yard inspections and document vehicle defects using the DriverVehicle Condition Report (DVCR).● Communicate maintenance concerns promptly to the Transportation Manager.● Ensure refrigerated trailers carrying products such as cheese, chicken, and otherperishables maintain proper temperature requirements.● Follow Domino’s Chock, Safety Cone, and Dock Signal Light policies at all times.● Comply with all DOT regulations and maintain accurate DOT logs.● Adhere to all local, state, federal, and Domino’s safety policies and procedures.Warehouse & Team Support● Ensure warehouse personnel have trailers available for loading and unloadingactivities.● Assist with unloading trailers when operationally necessary.● Support route drivers by assisting with unloading products at Domino’s storelocations when assigned.● Respond promptly to requests from management and transportation personnel.● Attend all required safety meetings, classroom instruction, and training sessions.● Maintain Domino’s uniform standards at all times.Required QualificationsCandidates must meet ALL of the following requirements:● Must be at least 21 years of age.● Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Air Brakesendorsement.● Must have a minimum of six (6) months of verifiable Commercial Motor Vehicle(CMV) driving experience; one (1) year preferred.● Must maintain a current DOT Medical Certificate (DOT Med Cert).● Must continuously meet the company's defined Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)standards to remain qualified to operate a company commercial motor vehicle.● Ability to safely operate tractors and trailers in a busy yard environment.● Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and teamwork.Physical Requirements● Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods.● Ability to climb stairs and access equipment.● Frequently lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.● Perform heavy pushing and pulling of products and equipment.● Ability to work in refrigerated environments (33°F–38°F).● Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including rain, snow, sleet, andheat.● Ability to work around loud machinery and warehouse equipment.Work Environment● Combination of warehouse, yard, and outdoor work environments.● Safety-sensitive position requiring strict adherence to company and DOT regulations.
