C1 Staffing is hiring a Driver (Goods, Materials and Passengers) for a client location in Georgetown, KY 40324. This is a second-shift, contract-to-hire role paying $17.98 per hour, with overtime paid at $25.17 per hour.
In this position you will safely operate company vehicles to move goods, materials and passengers, and you will pitch in with warehouse support work between runs. It is a steady 40-hour schedule with ongoing contract-to-hire potential for drivers who show up and do the job well.
What you will do:- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods, materials and passengers- Follow all safe driving practices, traffic laws and site safety procedures- Load, unload and secure items so they travel safely and arrive intact- Assist with general warehouse duties, including stocking and retrieving package and bulk containers- Support general cleaning and housekeeping tasks around the work area as needed- Keep to assigned routes and timing so deliveries and pickups stay on schedule
Schedule and pay:- Pay is $17.98 per hour, with overtime paid at $25.17 per hour- Second shift, 3:00pm to 11:30pm- 40 hours per week- Contract-to-hire, with ongoing potential for the right person- Uniform required: black shirt and black pants- Paid weekly
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Valid driver's license and a safe driving record- Comfortable with the physical demands of driving, loading, unloading and warehouse support work- Willingness to follow site safety rules and safe driving practices every shift- Dependable attendance for a full second-shift schedule, Monday through Friday hours of 3:00pm to 11:30pm- Ability to pass required pre-employment screenings- Able to wear the required uniform of a black shirt and black pants
This role suits someone who likes a mix of time behind the wheel and hands-on work inside. You will not be sitting all day; expect to load and secure your own freight, help restock and retrieve packages and bulk containers, and keep the area clean and organized. Drivers who are careful with vehicles, accurate with their loads and consistent with attendance tend to do very well here, and this assignment is set up so strong performers can convert to a permanent role with the client.
