Environmental Service Attendant - Alexandria, LA
C1 Staffing is hiring Environmental Service Attendants for an ongoing cleaning and facility care position in Alexandria, Louisiana. Pay is $13.82 per hour with overtime paid at $19.35 per hour, and both day and evening shifts are available.
This role keeps assigned areas clean, sanitary, and orderly across a range of settings. Attendants may be assigned to any location on the client's premises, which can include commercial buildings, health care areas, schools, universities, or similar establishments. We are also seeking experienced floor techs for a day shift position with the same every-other-weekend rotation, so please note any floor care experience when you apply.
What you will do:- Clean and maintain assigned areas, keeping them in an orderly and sanitary condition- Work in any location on the client's premises as assigned, including commercial, health care, school, university, or similar settings- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety standards on every task- Service restrooms, common areas, hallways, and other assigned spaces throughout the shift- Remove trash and restock supplies in assigned areas- Report maintenance issues, supply needs, or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor- Floor tech openings: perform floor care duties on a day shift schedule with every other weekend- Wear the required uniform of navy blue scrubs for each shift
Schedule and pay:- Pay is $13.82 per hour- Overtime is paid at $19.35 per hour- Standard schedule is 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 40 hours per week- Both day and evening shifts are available- Every other weekend is required- Paid weekly
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Dependable attendance and the ability to commit to working every other weekend- Comfort with standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift- Willingness to work in any assigned location on the client's premises- Ability to follow established cleaning procedures and safety standards- Navy blue scrubs, which are the required uniform for this role- Floor care experience is a plus and is required for the floor tech day shift openings
