Lead Worker - Facilities in Jefferson City, MO
C1 Staffing is hiring a Lead Worker for Facilities in Jefferson City, Missouri, coordinating the daily work of maintenance technicians while working hands-on in the skilled trades. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with steady full-time hours, second-shift pay of $17.42 per hour, and a clear path to a permanent role.
What you will do:
- Coordinate the routine work schedules of maintenance technicians involved in one or more craft specialties- Perform hands-on work in one or more of the skilled trades alongside the technicians you support- Keep daily maintenance operations organized and moving on schedule across the facility- Guide and direct other technicians on assigned tasks, priorities, and sequencing of work- Help maintain a safe work environment and reinforce safe work practices during the shift- Track routine maintenance assignments so work is completed consistently and on time- Communicate shift progress, open items, and outstanding maintenance needs for handoff
Schedule and pay:
- $17.42 per hour, paid weekly- Overtime paid at $24.39 per hour- Second shift, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.- 40 hours per week, full-time- Contract-to-hire with the potential to continue on an ongoing basis
What you will need:
- Must be 18 or older- Experience in one or more skilled trades, with the ability to guide and direct other technicians- Ability to perform hands-on maintenance work throughout the shift- Reliability for a consistent second-shift schedule- Required dress code: black pants and nonslip shoes
