C1 is hiring two Cashier / Food Service Workers in Helena, MT for one of our client partners. This is a contract role with ongoing, contract-to-hire potential, running from September 1, 2026 through December 19, 2026, at 40 hours per week. Pay is $11.74 per hour, with overtime paid at $16.44 per hour. Schedules vary, so flexibility is a plus.
What you will do:- Handle cash and credit transactions for customers in a busy foodservice operation- Operate the cash register and POS accurately and complete each transaction correctly- Assist with setup and serving of food from counters and steamtables- Clean and sanitize equipment, counters, and work stations throughout the shift- Support the retail operation with setup, restocking supplies and products, and cleanup and closedown
What we are looking for:- Comfort working with money and a point-of-sale system- A friendly, service-minded approach with customers- Ability to stay on your feet and keep pace during peak service times- Dress code: black pants and non-slip shoes required
