C1 is hiring Cook II professionals in Atlanta, GA. We have 10 openings on a contract assignment running September 4 through September 17, 2026, with potential to continue as an ongoing or contract-to-hire engagement for the right candidates.
Pay is $20.78 per hour, with overtime paid at $29.09 per hour. The schedule is 11a to 8p, approximately 40 hours per week.
What you will do:- Prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items- Support multiple meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner- Cook and plate items for special and catered events- Work accurately and efficiently to meet volume and timing expectations- Follow established recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen work area
What we are looking for:- Hands-on cooking experience in a high-volume kitchen- Comfort working on your feet for the length of the shift in a fast-paced environment- Reliable attendance and strong teamwork- Ability to complete C1's standard pre-assignment screening
