C1 Staffing is hiring a banquet server to work large gatherings such as weddings and corporate events in Austin, TX (78702). The role pays $20.00 per hour, and C1 pays weekly.
This is hands-on event work: you help turn an empty hall into a finished event space, take care of guests during the function, and reset the room when the last guest leaves. If you like steady movement, clear tasks, and seeing an event come together from setup to breakdown, this assignment is a good fit.
What you will do:- Set up event spaces before guests arrive, including arranging tables and chairs to the floor plan for the function- Prepare place settings with linens, glassware, flatware, and serviceware so each seat is ready at service time- Serve plated food and beverages to guests at weddings, corporate events, and other large gatherings- Keep water, coffee, and other beverages refilled throughout the event and respond to guest requests at the table- Carry trays of food and drinks from the kitchen or staging area to the dining floor and work in coordination with the rest of the banquet team- Clear plates, glassware, and used serviceware between courses and keep the room tidy during service- Clean up the room after the event, including breaking down tables and chairs, bussing remaining items, and returning the space to order- Follow the banquet captain's direction on timing, service sequence, and guest needs for each function

What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Ability to stand and walk for the full length of an event, including setup and breakdown- Ability to carry serving trays and to lift, move, and reset tables and chairs- Comfort working around food, beverages, and guests in a busy event hall- A guest-friendly, professional manner at weddings, corporate functions, and similar gatherings- Willingness to pitch in on setup and cleanup tasks, not just service
