Janitors and Cleaners - Concert Event Cleaning Crew (Austin, TX)
C1 Staffing is hiring janitors and cleaners for a live concert event in Austin, Texas, keeping the venue, restrooms, and public areas clean before, during, and after the show. The pay is $16.00 per hour, and we have 8 openings on this crew.
This is shift-based gig work that may lead to ongoing assignments for workers who show up on time and do the job well. If you take pride in leaving a space cleaner than you found it and you do not mind moving for most of your shift, this crew is a good fit.
What you will do:- Pick up trash throughout the venue, including seating areas, concourses, walkways, and entry and exit points- Collect and sort recycling and keep recycling stations stocked and clear- Sweep floors, aisles, and high-traffic areas to keep walking paths clear of debris- Clean restrooms, including wiping surfaces, restocking supplies as needed, and keeping floors free of trash and standing water- Empty garbage cans, replace liners, and move full bags to the designated collection points- Keep trash and recycling containers positioned where guests can reach them and monitor them so they do not overflow- Complete a final sweep and trash pickup after the event so the venue is turned over clean- Follow direction from the on-site supervisor on assigned zones and priorities during the shift
Schedule and pay:- Pay is $16.00 per hour- Paid weekly- Gig / shift-based work that may be ongoing- 8 workers needed for this crew
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Ability to stand and walk for the length of the shift, including on stairs and ramps- Ability to bend, reach, and lift and carry trash and recycling bags- Comfort working in a loud, crowded event environment with large crowds moving through your work area- Willingness to work indoors and outdoors depending on the assigned zone- Ability to work as part of a crew and follow supervisor instructions on zone assignments- Closed-toe shoes and clothing you do not mind getting dirty- Reliability and on-time arrival, since the crew has to be in place before doors open
