C1 is hiring a Cook II for a one-day contract assignment in Wilton, CT. This is a short-term engagement scheduled for September 29, 2026, with a shift running 6:30am to 2:30pm (approximately 8 hours). Pay is $19.73 per hour, with overtime paid at $27.62 per hour.
What you will do:- Prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items with accuracy and efficiency- Support breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special or catered event service- Follow recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work station throughout the shift
What you need:- Prior professional cooking experience in a high-volume kitchen- Ability to stand for the full shift and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment- Reliability and punctuality for this single-day assignment
Uniform requirement: chef coat, chef pants, cap, and nonslip shoes are required and must be worn for the full shift.
