Position Overview:As a Chef or Head Cook, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation. Your creativity and culinary expertise will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with attention to flavor, presentation, and nutrition.- Ensure all food is prepared according to safety and quality standards.- Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed.- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and specials.- Monitor inventory and assist in ordering supplies to ensure kitchen efficiency.
Requirements:- Proven experience as a Chef or Head Cook in a fast-paced kitchen environment.- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.- Excellent culinary skills and a passion for creating outstanding dishes.- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.- Valid Food Handler Card certification is required.
Compensation:- Competitive pay rate of $30/hour.
