Quick Hire: Food Service Worker — Tulsa, OK 74171
C1 Staffing is hiring a Food Service Worker for a client location in Tulsa, OK 74171, working evenings from 4:00 p.m. to midnight at $16.64 per hour. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with strong potential to continue long term for workers who show up and do solid work.
What you will do:
- Work anywhere on the property where food is prepared, moving between stations as the kitchen team needs you- Assist with the setup of counters and steamtables before service begins- Serve food to guests from counters and steamtables during meal periods- Clean and sanitize food service equipment throughout your shift- Wipe down and sanitize work stations, keeping prep and serving areas orderly- Follow established sanitation procedures when handling equipment, utensils, and surfaces- Support the kitchen team with general food service tasks as needed during busy periods- Help break down serving areas and return equipment to its proper place at the end of service
Schedule and pay:
- $16.64 per hour, paid weekly- Overtime paid at $23.30 per hour- Second shift, 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.- Roughly 40 hours per week- Shifts may include weekends- Contract-to-hire with potential to continue long term
What you will need:
- Must be 18 or older- Reliable attendance and availability for evening shifts- Availability to work weekend shifts as scheduled- Ability to stand and walk for the length of the shift and move throughout a busy kitchen environment- Comfort working with food service equipment and following sanitation procedures- Willingness to work in different areas of the property wherever food is being prepared- Uniform required: black pants, black shirt, and nonslip shoes
This is a good fit if you have worked in a cafeteria, dining hall, catering operation, or restaurant line and you are comfortable serving guests while keeping your station clean. It is also a reasonable entry point if you are newer to food service but you take direction well, keep moving during a rush, and understand that sanitation is part of every shift rather than something saved for the end of the night. The evening schedule works well for people who prefer their mornings free.
