C1 Staffing is hiring Catering Service Workers for a short-term contract assignment in Plano, TX (75024 area). The role pays $20.83 per hour with overtime paid at $29.16 per hour, and the shifts run a clean 8:00 am to 4:00 pm schedule.
This is shift-based catering support work where you will set up, serve, and break down catered events in conference rooms and other requested locations on site. If you have banquet or food service experience and take pride in making an event run smoothly, this is a straightforward assignment with a defined start and end.
What you will do:- Organize, set up, and deliver requested catering services to specified locations and conference rooms- Transport catering equipment, food, and supplies to the requested service areas on time- Arrange service tables, beverage stations, and place settings so each event is ready before guests arrive- Provide prompt, courteous service to every customer throughout the event- Deliver efficient and attentive service that exceeds customer expectations- Monitor service areas during events and restock or refresh items as needed- Break down and clean up service areas once events conclude, returning equipment to its proper place
Schedule and pay:- Pay is $20.83 per hour- Overtime is paid at $29.16 per hour- Shifts run Tuesday and Wednesday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm- Approximately 8 hours per week- Short-term contract assignment- Paid weekly
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Prior catering, banquet, or food service experience preferred- Comfortable standing and walking for the length of the shift- Able to lift and transport catering equipment and supplies throughout the shift- Strong customer service skills with a professional, friendly presence- Reliable attendance and punctuality for each scheduled shift- Black pants and a black shirt are required for all shifts
