C1 Staffing is hiring Package Handlers for shift-based work at a parcel facility in Oregon, Ohio. The role pays $17.00 per hour with weekly pay, and shifts may continue on an ongoing basis for handlers who show up and perform well.
This is hands-on warehouse work in a fast-moving package operation. You will be part of the crew that gets trailers emptied, packages sorted to the right destination, and delivery trucks loaded and ready to roll.
What you will do:- Unload packages from incoming trailers by hand, working steadily to clear the trailer- Sort packages by zip code so each parcel is routed to the correct delivery area- Move sorted packages to the proper staging spots for outbound loading- Load delivery trucks with sorted packages, keeping loads stable and organized- Lift, carry, and place packages weighing up to 50 pounds throughout your shift- Handle each package carefully to avoid damage to the parcel and its contents- Keep the dock, sort area, and walkways clear of debris and loose items- Follow facility safety rules and direction from the on-site supervisor
Schedule and pay:- Pay is $17.00 per hour- Paid weekly by C1 Staffing- Gig and shift-based work, with the possibility of ongoing shifts
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly during the shift- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and twist for the length of the shift- Closed-toed shoes are required to work on the dock- Comfort working in a fast-paced warehouse and trailer environment- Attention to detail when reading labels and sorting by zip code- Dependability and on-time arrival for every shift you accept
No prior package handling experience is required. If you have worked in a warehouse, on a dock, or in any job where you moved product by hand, that background will serve you well here, but we will also consider motivated first-time warehouse workers who are ready for physical work.
