C1 is hiring an experienced Senior Cook for a contract opportunity in Plano, TX, with the potential to grow into a contract-to-hire role.
In this position, you will accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items across multiple meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special or catered events.
Pay and schedule:- $25.19 per hour, with overtime paid at $35.27 per hour- Approximately 16 hours per week- Shifts run 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.- Assignment runs September 28, 2026 through October 30, 2026, with ongoing contract-to-hire potential
What we are looking for:- Prior professional cooking experience across multiple meal periods- Ability to cook, portion, and plate consistently under time pressure- Comfort supporting high-volume service and catered or special events- Attention to food quality, presentation, and safe handling standards- Dependable attendance and strong teamwork in a busy kitchen
Uniform requirement:- Black slacks and a black shirt, clean and professional for every shift
