C1 Staffing is hiring a Utility Worker for a short-term contract assignment in Alpharetta, GA. This is a one-day engagement paying $17.18 per hour, covering roughly 9 hours from 7am to 5pm.
This role supports a busy kitchen operation. You will be responsible for maintaining kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils, keeping everything clean, organized and ready for service throughout the shift.
What you will do:- Maintain kitchen work areas, keeping surfaces and stations clean and sanitary- Clean, wash and sanitize equipment, utensils, pots and pans- Return clean items to their proper storage locations once washed and dried- Remove trash from the kitchen area throughout the shift- Keep floors and walkways clear and safe for kitchen staff moving through the space- Support kitchen staff with general utility tasks as directed by the supervisor on site- Follow cleanliness and sanitation standards consistently from the start of the shift to the end
Schedule and pay:- Pay is $17.18 per hour, paid weekly- Overtime is paid at $24.05 per hour when applicable- Day shift, approximately 9 hours from 7am to 5pm- This is a one-day, shift-based assignment, with the possibility of additional work for people who do well
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Reliable attendance and on-time arrival for the scheduled shift- Comfort working on your feet for the full shift in a fast-paced kitchen environment- Ability to lift, bend, reach and handle repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the day- Team-first attitude and strong attention to cleanliness standards- Willingness to take direction from kitchen leadership and move between tasks as needs change- Authorization to work in the United States; C1 Staffing participates in E-Verify
