C1 Staffing is hiring a Food Prep Helper for a client kitchen in Richfield, NE (zip area served by our Richfield assignments). The role pays $16.01 per hour on a Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm schedule, so your afternoons stay free.
This is a hands-on kitchen position focused on supporting daily food production. You will spend your shift assisting with food preparation and keeping work stations and equipment clean and sanitary. The assignment is a contract role with the potential to go ongoing or contract-to-hire for the right person.
What you will do:- Work primarily in the kitchen, supporting the daily production of food products- Assist with the preparation of foodstuffs from start to finish- Clean and sanitize work stations throughout the shift- Clean and sanitize production equipment to keep the line running safely- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards- Keep pace with production needs in a busy, team-based kitchen environment
Schedule and pay:- $16.01 per hour, paid weekly- Overtime paid at $22.41 per hour- Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm- 40 hours per week- Contract assignment with potential to go ongoing or contract-to-hire
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Comfort standing and moving in a fast-paced kitchen environment for a full shift- Reliable attendance and on-time starts for an early morning schedule- Willingness to follow food safety and sanitation procedures- Black pants and non-slip shoes required for every shift- Must be able to complete E-Verify employment eligibility verification
