C1 is hiring Utility Workers for a client location in Prairie View, TX. This is a contract assignment with the potential to become contract-to-hire for dependable candidates who take pride in a clean, well-run kitchen.
Pay is $17.92 per hour, with overtime paid at $25.09 per hour. The shift runs 10:30 am to 8:15 pm, averaging 37.5 hours per week. The assignment window is September 19, 2026 through October 10, 2026, with ongoing opportunity for strong performers.
What you will do:- Maintain kitchen work areas so they stay clean, organized and ready for service- Wash, sanitize and store dishes, utensils, pots and pans- Clean kitchen equipment and keep it in safe working condition- Remove trash, sweep and mop floors, and support general sanitation- Assist kitchen staff with basic setup and breakdown tasks as needed
What we are looking for:- Reliable attendance and punctuality for the full scheduled shift- Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift throughout the shift- Comfort working in a fast-paced kitchen environment with hot and wet conditions- Willingness to follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
