C1 is hiring a Cook II in Tallahassee, FL for one of our client partners. This is a full-time contract assignment running from September 14, 2026 through February 28, 2027, with 40 hours per week on a 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. shift. The role is ongoing and offers contract-to-hire potential for the right cook.
Pay is $18.71 per hour, with overtime paid at $26.19 per hour.
What you will do:- Prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items- Support breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, plus special and catered events- Work accurately and efficiently to meet timing and presentation standards- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices
What you need:- Prior experience cooking in a high-volume or institutional kitchen- Ability to stand for full shifts and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment- Non-slip, slip-resistant shoes required on every shift- Dependable attendance and strong teamwork
