Warehouse Associate (Warehouse Operative) - C1 Staffing
C1 Staffing is hiring a full-time Warehouse Associate in Earth City, MO 63045 for hands-on warehouse operations and physical labor, including handling and staging batteries for shipment and recycling. The role pays $16.00 per hour, paid weekly, and is an ongoing career position rather than a short-term fill-in.
What you will do:- Load and offload delivery vehicles, prepare outbound shipments, and label products accurately.- Safely lift, move, and stack heavy batteries throughout the warehouse using proper technique.- Pull orders and wrap pallets so freight is secure and ready for transport.- Handle and prepare used "core" batteries for recycling, following all handling procedures.- Perform general janitorial duties, including sweeping, mopping, and keeping aisles and staging areas organized and OSHA-compliant.- Maintain warehouse safety and cleanliness standards throughout the shift, reporting hazards as they come up.- Operate machinery and light equipment as trained, working safely alongside forklifts and large trucks.- Double-check counts, labels, and order details so shipments leave the dock correct the first time.
Schedule and pay:- Pay rate: $16.00 per hour.- Shift type: full time.- Paid weekly by C1 Staffing.- Ongoing, career-type assignment rather than a one-day job.
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older.- Ability to lift 50 to 100 lbs, with frequent lifting of 55 lbs and above; this role involves extreme heavy lifting.- Ability to perform physical tasks throughout the shift, including reaching, crouching, bending, standing, and walking.- Comfort working in and around forklift traffic and large delivery trucks.- Strong attention to detail when pulling orders, labeling products, and verifying shipments.- Reliability and consistent attendance, since the team depends on each associate to keep the dock moving.- Willingness to take on cleaning and organizing duties as part of daily work.- Must be authorized to work in the United States; C1 Staffing participates in E-Verify.
