C1 Staffing is hiring Janitors and Cleaners for a live concert event in Austin, TX. The pay is $16.00 per hour, paid weekly, and we are filling 9 spots on this crew.
This is shift-based event work, and it may lead to additional assignments for people who show up on time and do solid work. You will be part of a cleaning crew keeping the venue areas neat and presentable before, during, and after the show, working alongside other C1 crew members and reporting to an on-site lead.
What you will do:- Pick up trash throughout the assigned areas, including seating sections, walkways, concourses, and outdoor spaces- Collect and separate recycling from general waste- Empty garbage cans, tie off and replace liners, and haul full bags to the designated dumpster or collection point- Sweep floors, entryways, and high-traffic areas to keep walking paths clear- Clean and restock restrooms, including wiping surfaces, clearing litter, and emptying restroom waste bins- Respond to spills and problem spots quickly so the area stays safe for guests- Keep supply carts, bins, and cleaning tools organized and returned at the end of the shift- Follow directions from the on-site lead on which zones to cover and when
Schedule and pay:- Pay is $16.00 per hour- Paid weekly by C1 Staffing- Gig and shift-based work that may be ongoing, with more shifts available for dependable workers- 9 workers needed for this crew
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Able to stand and walk for the full length of the shift, including on stairs and inclines- Comfortable bending, reaching, and lifting and carrying tied trash bags to collection points- Willing to handle trash, recycling, and restroom cleaning tasks- Able to work at a steady pace in a busy event environment with crowds and noise- Able to follow instructions from an on-site lead and stay in your assigned zone- Able to work indoors and outdoors as the event requires- Reliable attendance and on-time arrival for your scheduled shift
No prior janitorial experience is required. If you have cleaned for events, venues, stadiums, restaurants, schools, or offices before, that background will help you get up to speed quickly, but we will show you what needs to be done and where.
