C1 Staffing is hiring a Lead Worker - Facilities in Grand Forks, North Dakota to coordinate the routine schedules of maintenance technicians while working hands-on in one or more skilled trades. This is an ongoing career position paying $17.10 per hour, with pay issued weekly.
What you will do:- Coordinate the routine work schedules of maintenance technicians assigned to one or more craft specialties- Perform skilled trades work yourself in one or more crafts alongside the technicians you help coordinate- Organize daily and weekly routine maintenance assignments so scheduled work is covered across the crafts involved- Serve as the lead point of contact for the technician group on questions about routine schedules and task sequencing- Track the status of assigned routine maintenance tasks and follow up on work that is still open- Adjust technician schedules as routine maintenance priorities shift during the shift or week- Apply your trade knowledge to guide technicians on the craft work being performed- Communicate schedule changes, completed work, and outstanding items to the on-site supervisor
Schedule and pay:- Pay rate is $17.10 per hour- Paid weekly- Career, ongoing position rather than a short-term assignment- Located in Grand Forks, ND
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Hands-on experience in one or more skilled trades, with the ability to perform craft work as part of the role- Ability to coordinate the routine schedules of a group of maintenance technicians and keep assignments on track- Comfortable working across more than one craft specialty or coordinating technicians who do- Ability to perform physical, hands-on maintenance work throughout the shift- Clear communication skills for giving direction to technicians and reporting status to a supervisor- Dependability and consistent attendance, since other technicians depend on the schedules you coordinate- Employment eligibility confirmed through E-Verify
