C1 Staffing is hiring a Catering Service Worker for a short-term, two-day catering assignment in Plano, TX. The role pays $20.83 per hour, with overtime paid at $29.16 per hour, and it is a quick, well-paid commitment for anyone who enjoys event and hospitality work.
In this role you will help set up, deliver and break down catering services for scheduled events, bringing orders to specific locations and conference rooms and making sure guests are well taken care of from start to finish.
What you will do:- Organize, set up and break down catering services for scheduled events- Deliver requested catering orders to specific requested locations and conference rooms on time- Provide prompt, courteous service to every customer you interact with- Deliver efficient and attentive service that goes beyond customer expectations- Keep service areas clean, stocked and presentable throughout your shift- Communicate with event contacts so that setups match what was requested- Handle catering supplies, serving ware and equipment carefully while moving between rooms
Schedule and pay:- Pay is $20.83 per hour, with overtime paid at $29.16 per hour- Short-term contract assignment covering two scheduled days, totaling roughly 8 hours for the week- Shift-based gig work in Plano, TX, with the possibility of additional assignments- Paid weekly
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Prior catering, banquet, food service or hospitality experience preferred- Professional, friendly and customer-focused approach with strong service skills- Ability to stand, walk, lift and carry catering supplies for the length of the shift- Reliable attendance for both scheduled days of the assignment- All-black attire is required for this assignment- Comfort working in a fast-paced event environment where setups and timing can change
