C1 is hiring a Grill Cook in Lenoir, NC for one of our clients. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, so strong performers have a clear path to a permanent role.
Pay is $17.87 per hour, with overtime paid at $25.02 per hour. The schedule is 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM, roughly 40 hours per week, with the assignment running September 9, 2026 through November 7, 2026 and continuing on an ongoing basis.
What you will do:- Prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and cold food items- Cook for multiple meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner- Support special and catered events with accurate, efficient production- Plate and present food to the standards set by the kitchen- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work station
What we are looking for:- Prior grill or line cook experience in a high-volume kitchen- Ability to work quickly and accurately during busy meal rushes- Comfort standing for full shifts and handling hot equipment- Dependable attendance and a team-first attitude
