C1 Staffing is hiring janitors and cleaners for an outdoor event cleanup crew in Austin, Texas, with duties centered on trash, recycling, sweeping, and restroom upkeep. The pay is $16.00 per hour, paid weekly, and we have 6 spots to fill on this crew.
This is shift-based gig work that may be ongoing, so it is a good fit if you want to pick up event shifts and build a track record with a staffing agency that keeps calling reliable people back.
What you will do:- Pick up trash throughout the event grounds, including walkways, seating areas, and gathering spots, keeping the venue presentable for guests all shift long- Collect and separate recycling, placing items in the correct recycling containers rather than general waste- Empty garbage cans as they fill and move collected waste to the designated disposal area- Sweep paved areas, entryways, and high-traffic paths to keep surfaces clear of litter and debris- Clean restrooms during the shift, including wiping down surfaces and keeping the space orderly and usable for guests- Monitor assigned zones and respond to spills, overflowing cans, and littered areas as they come up- Work alongside the rest of the cleaning crew and check in with the onsite lead for assignments and zone coverage- Complete a final sweep of your assigned area at the end of the shift so the site is left clean
Schedule and pay:- Pay is $16.00 per hour- Paid weekly- Gig and shift-based work that may be ongoing- 6 workers needed for this crew
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Able to stand and walk for the length of the shift, including on outdoor surfaces- Able to bend, reach, and lift and carry bags of trash and recycling- Comfortable working outdoors in the conditions of the day- Willing to clean restrooms and handle trash and recycling as a regular part of the job- Dependable attendance and the ability to show up on time and ready to work- A team-friendly attitude and the ability to follow direction from the onsite lead
