C1 Staffing is hiring Warehouse Associates for shift-based warehouse work in Wixom, MI. The pay is $21.00 per hour, paid weekly, and assignments are available on a gig basis with the potential to continue on an ongoing schedule.
This is hands-on warehouse work centered on moving freight, preparing outbound shipments, and keeping the operation safe and orderly. If you are comfortable on your feet, around forklift traffic and large trucks, and you take pride in getting details right, this is a straightforward way to put in solid hours and get paid every week.
What you will do:
- Load and offload trucks and other vehicles, moving product safely and efficiently throughout the shift.- Prepare shipments for outbound transport, staging and organizing freight so it goes out complete and on time.- Label products accurately so orders and pallets are correctly identified and tracked.- Operate machinery and light equipment as trained, following all equipment-specific procedures.- Maintain warehouse safety standards, including keeping aisles, dock areas, and work zones clear of hazards.- Keep the warehouse clean and organized, breaking down packaging and returning tools and equipment to their proper places.- Work safely alongside forklift traffic and large trucks moving in and out of the dock area.- Double-check counts, labels, and staging locations to catch errors before product leaves the building.
Schedule and pay:
- Pay is $21.00 per hour.- Paid weekly.- Gig and shift-based work, with the possibility of ongoing assignments for associates who perform well.
What you will need:
- Must be 18 or older.- Ability to lift 50 to 100 lbs, with frequent lifting of 55 lbs and up.- Ability to perform physical tasks throughout the shift, including reaching, crouching, and bending.- Comfort working in and around forklifts and large trucks in an active warehouse environment.- Strong attention to detail when labeling, staging, and preparing shipments.- Reliability and a commitment to showing up on time and completing assigned shifts.- Willingness to operate machinery and light equipment after training is provided.
