C1 is hiring a Cook I in Shawnee, OK (74804) for one of our client partners. This is a contract assignment running October 1, 2026 through January 1, 2027, with the potential to become contract-to-hire for the right cook.
Pay is $16.52 per hour, with overtime paid at $23.13 per hour. The schedule is 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at 40 hours per week.
What you will do:- Prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items- Support breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, plus special and catered events- Work accurately and efficiently to meet volume and timing standards- Follow food safety, sanitation, and presentation guidelines throughout your shift
What you need:- Hands-on cooking experience across multiple meal periods- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle the physical demands of a busy kitchen- Comfort working in a fast-paced service environment- Required uniform: black button-down top, black trousers, and black safety shoes
