Warehouse Associate - C1 Staffing
C1 Staffing is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Tonawanda, NY 14150 to handle customer packages and freight in preparation for shipment and distribution. This is an ongoing, career-type assignment paying $18.90 per hour, paid weekly.
In this role you will keep freight moving accurately, safely, and on time, working in a fast-paced warehouse environment where attention to detail matters. You will move freight by hand, document it correctly, and enter shipment information into the ERP system.
What you will do:- Receive, weigh, measure, scan, label, and ship packages while following all safety and security regulations.- Load and unload packages and freight from processing stations and trailers.- Wrap freight and prepare shipments for customer distribution.- Affix labels to packages accurately and keep documentation correct.- Scan boxes from the inbound staging area.- Prepare bills of lading and enter shipment details into the ERP system.- Operate a forklift as needed, based on location requirements.- Cross-train in other warehouse positions, complete required health and safety compliance training, and carry out other duties as assigned by the manager.
Schedule and pay:- Pay rate: $18.90 per hour.- Paid weekly.- Ongoing, career-type position rather than a short-term project.
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older.- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and be willing and able to handle heavy freight throughout the shift.- Forklift experience and/or certification may be required based on location requirements.- Basic computer skills; prior data entry experience preferred.- Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.- Ability to follow safety and security procedures consistently.- Background check required.- Must be able to complete E-Verify employment eligibility verification.
