C1 Staffing is hiring a banquet server in Round Rock, TX (78664) to set up event spaces, serve food and beverages to guests, and reset the room once the event wraps. The pay is $20.00 per hour, paid weekly.
What you will do:
- Set up event spaces before guests arrive, including arranging tables and chairs to the floor plan for the function- Dress tables with linens and place settings, and stage service stations so the room is ready for service- Serve food and drinks to guests at large gatherings such as weddings, banquets, and corporate events- Deliver plated courses to tables in coordination with the rest of the service team so guests are served together- Keep beverages refilled and respond to guest requests politely and promptly during the event- Clear plates, glassware, and used service items between courses and keep the room tidy throughout- Clean up the room after the event, breaking down tables, chairs, and stations and returning linens and service ware to their proper areas- Work as part of a team with kitchen and event staff to keep service moving on schedule

What you will need:
- Must be 18 years of age or older- Ability to stand and walk for the length of the event and to move quickly between the kitchen and the event space- Ability to carry trays of plates and glassware and to lift and move tables, chairs, and service equipment during setup and breakdown- Comfort working around guests at formal events, with a courteous and professional manner- Attention to detail for table settings and room presentation- Willingness to pitch in on cleanup and room reset after guests leave- Reliability and punctuality, since events start at a fixed time and the room must be ready beforehand
