Loader / Crew (Events) - Eagan, MN 55121
C1 Staffing is hiring event loaders and crew members for event furniture work at a hotel venue in Eagan, MN (zip code 55121). This is hands-on, physical warehouse-style work at a loading dock, and C1 pays weekly.
What you will do:- Report to the trucks at the venue loading dock and work under the direction of the on-site driver and crew lead.- Load and unload event furniture from trucks throughout the shift.- Move and stage furniture to the correct rooms, ballrooms, and set locations inside the venue.- Assemble event furniture according to the set instructions given on site.- Wrap, pad, and protect furniture for safe transport and storage.- Perform repetitive heavy lifting of items weighing up to 55 pounds.- Break down, re-wrap, and reload furniture at the end of the set or event.- Clock in and out using the QR-based time system and also sign the on-site attendance sheet for every shift.
Schedule and pay:- Paid weekly by C1 Staffing.- Arrive 30 minutes before your shift start time, since you must pass through venue security screening before reporting to the dock.- A 6-hour rest period between shifts is required, so plan your availability accordingly.
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older.- Steel-toe boots are required. This is strictly enforced - workers who arrive without steel-toe footwear will be sent home.- Dress code: steel-toe boots, a plain t-shirt, and jeans or work pants.- Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting up to 55 pounds for the length of the shift.- Ability to stand, walk, bend, carry, and climb in and out of trucks throughout the shift.- Willingness to follow instructions from the on-site driver and crew lead on staging, wrapping, and assembly.- Reliability in following the clock-in and attendance sign-in process on every shift.- Work authorization confirmed through E-Verify.
