C1 Staffing is hiring Package Handlers for a busy warehouse operation in Romulus, MI (48174). The role pays $17.00 per hour with part-time and full-time schedules available, and you are paid weekly.
This is hands-on warehouse work in a fast-moving package environment. You will be part of a crew that unloads, sorts, and loads freight so deliveries go out on time, with safety treated as the first core value on every shift.
What you will do:- Unload trailers and move packages into the sort area- Sort packages by zip code so they route to the correct delivery lane- Load trucks for outbound deliveries in an organized, secure way- Lift, carry, and stage packages weighing up to 50 pounds- Stay on your feet and keep pace with the flow of freight throughout the shift- Follow all safety rules and procedures, since safety is the operation's first core value- Work as a team player alongside other handlers, because everyone pitches in to get the job done- Adapt to seasonal warehouse conditions, working in both heat and cold as temperatures vary

What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Ability to stay on your feet for the length of the shift- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds- Ability to work in heat and cold, as warehouse temperatures change with the season- Dependable, flexible, and reliable attendance and attitude- Willingness to work as part of a team and support coworkers during heavy volume- Commitment to following safety procedures at all times- Gloves and work boots are recommended for this role- Must be able to complete E-Verify employment eligibility verification
