Catering Service Worker - Plano, TX
C1 Staffing is hiring Catering Service Workers for a short-term, one-day contract assignment in Plano, TX. The pay is $20.83 per hour, with overtime paid at $29.16 per hour, and you get paid weekly.
This is hands-on catering support work: setting up, delivering and breaking down catered meals and refreshments for meetings and events, and taking care of guests from the first tray to the final cleanup. If you have worked banquets, corporate catering, or any fast-paced food service environment, you will be right at home.
What you will do:- Organize, set up and deliver requested catering services to the specific location or conference room requested- Transport catering supplies, food, beverages and service ware to event and meeting spaces- Arrange tables, buffets and service areas so everything is neat, stocked and ready before guests arrive- Monitor service areas during the event and replenish items as needed- Provide prompt and courteous service to all customers- Deliver efficient and attentive service that exceeds customer expectations- Break down service areas after events, including clearing, cleaning and returning equipment and supplies
Schedule and pay:- $20.83 per hour- Overtime paid at $29.16 per hour- One-day contract assignment, 8-hour shift- Daytime shift, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm- Paid weekly- Shift-based gig work that may lead to additional assignments
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Prior catering, banquet, food service or hospitality experience preferred- Ability to stand and walk for the length of the shift- Ability to lift and carry catering supplies, trays and equipment throughout the shift- Strong customer service skills with a professional, friendly attitude- Reliable attendance and on-time arrival for the scheduled shift- Dress code: black slacks and a black shirt, clean and pressed
