C1 Staffing is hiring Food Service Workers in San Jose, CA, to support food preparation and service operations for one of our clients. The role pays $23.28 per hour with overtime paid at $32.59 per hour, and it is a full-time, ongoing assignment at 40 hours per week.
This is a contract position with contract-to-hire potential, so strong performers have a path to a longer-term opportunity. You may work anywhere on the property where food is prepared, assisting with setup, serving, and keeping the kitchen and serving areas clean and sanitary.
What you will do:- Work in any area on the property where food is prepared, as assigned- Assist with the setup of counters and steamtables before each service period- Serve food to guests from counters and steamtables- Keep serving lines stocked, organized, and presentable throughout service- Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work stations- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards at every step of the process- Support the kitchen and service team in a fast-paced environment during peak periods
Schedule and pay:- $23.28 per hour, paid weekly- Overtime paid at $32.59 per hour- 40 hours per week- Contract role with contract-to-hire potential- Specific shift details will be confirmed during the hiring process
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and move throughout the shift- Comfort working in a fast-paced kitchen and serving environment- Dependable attendance and a strong team mindset- Willingness to follow food safety and sanitation procedures- Prior food service experience is helpful but not required- Must be able to complete E-Verify employment eligibility verification
