This full-time contract assignment pays $21.07 per hour with overtime at $29.50 per hour, and runs from September 22, 2026 through December 31, 2026, with potential to become an ongoing or contract-to-hire position.
What you will do:
- Prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items to order and on schedule- Support breakfast, lunch, and dinner service across multiple meal periods- Cook and plate items for special events and catered functions- Work accurately and efficiently to meet volume and timing expectations during peak service- Maintain quality, consistency, and presentation standards on every plate that leaves the line- Follow all food safety and sanitation practices in the kitchen, including proper handling, storage, and temperature control- Keep work stations clean, stocked, and organized throughout the shift- Communicate with the kitchen team to keep service moving smoothly in a fast-paced environment
Schedule and pay:
- $21.07 per hour, with overtime paid at $29.50 per hour- Roughly 40 hours per week, full-time- Specific schedule discussed at the time of placement- Assignment runs September 22, 2026 through December 31, 2026, with potential to continue as an ongoing or contract-to-hire role- Paid weekly
What you will need:
- Must be 18 or older- Prior cooking experience in a high-volume or institutional kitchen setting- Comfort working across multiple meal periods and event-driven service- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle typical kitchen physical demands- Reliable attendance and strong teamwork in a fast-paced environment- Willingness to meet uniform requirements, which will be discussed prior to your start date- Must be able to complete E-Verify employment eligibility verification
