C1 Staffing is hiring a Dishroom Lead for a short-term contract assignment in Englewood, Colorado (80110), where you will keep the kitchen and dishroom clean, stocked and running smoothly for the kitchen team. Pay is $20.90 per hour on a day shift, with overtime paid at $29.26 per hour.
What you will do:
- Provide a clean and safe kitchen area for the staff working the shift, keeping work zones clear and ready throughout the day- Wash and sanitize tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment as they come into the dishroom- Keep the dishroom itself clean and organized, including wiping down surfaces and keeping aisles and stations clear- Operate and maintain the dish machines, keeping equipment clean and in good working order during service- Keep the dishroom stocked so clean tableware, pans and equipment are ready when the kitchen needs them- Take the lead in the dishroom, helping keep the flow of work steady and efficient during busy periods- Return clean pots, pans and cooking equipment to their proper storage areas so the kitchen stays organized- Support a safe work environment by keeping floors and wet areas free of hazards
Schedule and pay:
- Pay is $20.90 per hour, paid weekly- Overtime is paid at $29.26 per hour- Day shift, 8:00am to 3:30pm- Short-term contract assignment based on a 40-hour full-time week- This is gig and shift-based work that may be ongoing
What you will need:
- Must be 18 or older- Prior dishroom, kitchen or food service experience is preferred- Ability to stand for the full shift and handle repeated lifting, bending and reaching- Comfort working in a warm, wet work environment around hot water, steam and dish machines- Non-slip shoes are required for this assignment- Reliable attendance and on-time arrival for the scheduled shift- Willingness to take direction and help keep the dishroom team moving at a steady pace
