C1 Staffing is hiring a Grill Cook for a client location in Leadville, CO. This is a full-time, ongoing opportunity paying $22.80 per hour, with overtime paid at $31.92 per hour.
In this role you will work the grill and line for multiple meal periods, turning out hot and cold items accurately and quickly while keeping your station clean and food-safe. It is a hands-on kitchen job for someone who takes pride in consistent portions, solid presentation, and getting food out on time during a rush.
What you will do:- Prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and cold food items with speed and accuracy- Cook for multiple meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner- Support special events and catered functions as scheduled- Follow recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines consistently- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work station throughout each shift- Work the grill and line in a high-volume setting, coordinating with the rest of the kitchen team to keep tickets moving- Apply food safety and sanitation standards to all prep, cooking, holding, and cleanup tasks
Schedule and pay:- $22.80 per hour, with overtime paid at $31.92 per hour- Full-time, 40 hours per week- Paid weekly- Ongoing position with the potential to go contract-to-hire
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Prior experience cooking on a grill or line in a high-volume kitchen- Solid knife skills and working knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry kitchen items, and work in a hot kitchen environment- Dependable attendance and strong teamwork in a fast-paced setting- Comfort moving between stations and meal periods, from breakfast service through dinner and catered events
