C1 is hiring an experienced Senior Cook for a short-term contract assignment in Plano, TX.
This is a two-day engagement running September 14 through September 15, 2026, with shifts from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm and approximately 16 total hours. Pay is $25.19 per hour, with overtime paid at $35.27 per hour.
What you will do:- Prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items- Support breakfast, lunch, and dinner meal periods- Assist with special events and catered functions- Maintain accuracy, efficiency, and consistent presentation standards throughout each shift- Follow all food safety and sanitation practices
What we are looking for:- Prior professional cooking experience across multiple meal periods- Comfort working in a fast-paced kitchen environment- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle typical kitchen physical demands- Reliable attendance for both scheduled days
Dress code:- Black slacks and a black shirt required
