Warehouse Associate - Gig Work in Milwaukee, WI (53203)
C1 Staffing is hiring Warehouse Associates for shift-based warehouse and furniture handling work in Milwaukee, WI 53203, paying $18.00 per hour. This is gig work that may continue on an ongoing basis, and you are paid weekly for every shift you work.
What you will do:- Load and unload trucks with care to prevent damage and make sure items are placed properly.- Pick, stage, and prepare products for delivery or transfer to other locations.- Clean, repair, wrap, and assemble furniture so it is rental-ready or correctly stored.- Tag, store, and relocate inventory throughout the warehouse.- Conduct cycle counts to keep inventory records accurate.- Keep the warehouse clean and organized throughout the shift.- Follow all safety guidelines and take part in safety meetings.- Complete daily warm-ups before beginning physical work.
Schedule and pay:- Pay rate is $18.00 per hour.- Paid weekly.- Gig and shift-based work that may be ongoing depending on business needs.- Weekend shifts may be required based on business needs.
What you will need:- Must be 18 years or older.- Ability to stand and walk for the length of the shift.- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.- Ability to carry up to 50 pounds.- Comfortable with hands-on tasks such as wrapping, assembling, and repairing furniture.- Willingness to follow safety procedures, attend safety meetings, and complete daily warm-ups.- Must be able to complete E-Verify employment eligibility verification.
This role is a good fit if you like staying busy and moving throughout the day rather than sitting in one spot. You will be handling furniture and other rental products that need to look good when they reach the customer, so attention to detail matters as much as speed. Workers who take care with how items are loaded, wrapped, and stored tend to do very well here. Accuracy on cycle counts and tagging is also important, since the warehouse depends on correct inventory records to fill orders on time.
