C1 is hiring 2 Grill Cooks for a contract assignment in Prairie View, TX. This is an ongoing, contract-to-hire opportunity with one of our client partners in the food service industry.
Pay is $20.63 per hour, with overtime paid at $28.88 per hour. The schedule is 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., averaging 40 hours per week. The assignment runs from September 8, 2026 through September 25, 2026, with the potential to continue based on performance and business need.
What you will do:- Prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and cold food items- Cook for multiple meal periods, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner- Support special and catered events as scheduled- Maintain accuracy, speed, and consistent presentation on every plate- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards in a fast-paced kitchen
What we are looking for:- Prior grill or line cook experience in a high-volume kitchen- Ability to stand for full shifts and work in a hot kitchen environment- Reliable attendance and strong teamwork
