Food Service Worker - Lenoir, NC
C1 Staffing is hiring a Food Service Worker in Lenoir, NC, supporting food preparation and service across the property. This is a contract-to-hire role paying $16.23 per hour with a full 40-hour week and overtime available at $22.72 per hour.
This position is a great fit if you like early starts, steady hours, and a kitchen environment where cleanliness and teamwork matter. You may work anywhere on the property where food is prepared, so each day brings a mix of setup, serving, and cleaning tasks.
What you will do:- Work anywhere on the property where food is prepared, moving between prep, serving, and cleaning areas as needed- Assist with the setup of counters and steamtables before service- Serve food to guests from counters and steamtables during meal periods- Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work stations throughout the shift- Keep serving lines stocked, neat, and presentable during service- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards from the start of your shift to the end- Support the kitchen team wherever extra hands are needed
Schedule and pay:- $16.23 per hour, paid weekly- Overtime paid at $22.72 per hour- 40 hours per week- Shifts start at 7:00 am- Contract-to-hire, with the potential to continue on an ongoing basis
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Reliable attendance and the ability to consistently make an early morning start- Comfort standing for extended periods and moving throughout the kitchen and serving areas- Ability to lift as needed during setup, service, and cleaning tasks- Attention to cleanliness and detail, especially around sanitation of equipment and work stations- A team-first attitude and willingness to help wherever you are needed- Prior food service or kitchen experience is helpful but not required
