C1 Staffing is hiring an experienced Grill Cook for a short-term contract assignment in Spokane, WA, supporting game day catering at a university athletic center. Pay is $22.05 per hour, with overtime paid at $30.87 per hour, on a steady 12:00pm to 8:00pm shift.
What you will do:- Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and cold food items for game day catering service- Work the grill station during high-volume periods, keeping output consistent in both speed and quality- Plate and present food items to the standards set for the catering event- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and portion control standards throughout the shift- Keep your station clean, stocked, and ready so service never slows down- Communicate with the kitchen team to stay ahead of ticket volume and event timing- Assist with breakdown and cleanup of the grill station at the end of service
Schedule and pay:- $22.05 per hour, with overtime paid at $30.87 per hour- Shift runs 12:00pm to 8:00pm- Up to 40 hours per week- Short-term contract assignment- Paid weekly
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Prior grill or line cook experience in a fast-paced kitchen- Ability to stand for the full shift and work in a hot kitchen environment- Comfort working quickly and accurately under high-volume catering conditions- Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and portion control practices- Dress code: black pants (no leggings, jeans, or sweatpants) and non-slip shoes
