C1 is hiring an experienced Senior Cook for a contract assignment with one of our clients in Plano, TX. This role pays $25.19 per hour, with overtime paid at $35.27 per hour.
Schedule and details:- Assignment runs September 21 through October 2, 2026- Shifts are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, averaging about 16 hours per week- Contract engagement with potential to become ongoing or contract-to-hire- Uniform is black slacks and a black shirt
What you will do:- Prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items- Support breakfast, lunch, and dinner meal periods- Cook and plate for special events and catered functions- Maintain accuracy, consistency, and efficiency across all menu items- Follow food safety, sanitation, and presentation standards throughout the shift
What we are looking for:- Prior professional cooking experience across multiple meal periods- Comfort working in a fast-paced kitchen and standing for the full shift- Ability to arrive on time in the required uniform and work well with a team
