Dishroom Lead - Eagle Mountain, UT 84005
C1 Staffing is hiring a Dishroom Lead for a short-term contract assignment at a food service operation in Eagle Mountain, UT 84005. This is a day-shift role paying $20.49 per hour, with overtime paid at $28.69 per hour and weekly paychecks.
In this role you will keep the dishroom running smoothly and make sure the kitchen team has clean, sanitized tableware and equipment ready to go throughout service. It is hands-on work in a fast-paced kitchen, and you will set the pace for the dish area.
What you will do:- Provide a clean and safe kitchen area for employees working in the space- Wash and sanitize tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment- Operate and maintain dish machines, keeping them clean and in good working order- Keep the dishroom organized, stocked, and free of clutter during service- Take the lead on dishroom workflow so the area stays on pace during busy service periods- Return clean dishes, pans, and equipment to their proper storage locations- Follow cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards throughout the shift
Schedule and pay:- Pay is $20.49 per hour- Overtime is paid at $28.69 per hour- Day shift, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm- Approximately 40 hours per week- Short-term contract assignment- Paid weekly
What you will need:- Must be 18 or older- Prior dishroom, kitchen, or food service experience preferred- Ability to stand for a full shift and work in a fast-paced, warm kitchen environment- Comfort handling hot water, cleaning chemicals, and heavy pots and pans- Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation standards- Dependability and the ability to keep the dish area moving during peak times- Uniform: black pants, black shirt, and black non-slip kitchen shoes
This is a good fit if you have worked a dish pit before and know how to stay ahead of the rush. Leads are counted on to keep dishes cycling, flag equipment issues early, and keep the area safe for everyone moving through the kitchen.
