C1 is hiring two Cook I professionals for a client location in Indianola, IA. This is a contract assignment running from August 21, 2026 through September 30, 2026, with potential to go ongoing or contract-to-hire for the right candidates.
Pay and schedule:- $16.61 per hour, with overtime paid at $23.25 per hour- 40 hours per week on a 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. shift- Multiple openings available
What you will do:- Prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items- Support breakfast, lunch, and dinner service, plus special and catered events- Follow recipes and portion standards to keep quality and presentation consistent- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work area
What you need:- Prior cooking experience in a high-volume kitchen setting- Ability to work on your feet for the full shift in a fast-paced environment- Dependable attendance for the scheduled evening hours
Uniform details: a chef coat is provided. You will need to supply your own black pants and slip-resistant shoes.
