C1 is hiring Utility Workers for a client in Detroit, MI. This is a contract assignment running September 9 through September 30, 2026, with the potential to continue on an ongoing or contract-to-hire basis for dependable workers.
Pay is $17.45 per hour, with overtime paid at $24.43 per hour. The shift is 7:00am to 3:30pm, roughly 40 hours per week.
What you will do:- Maintain clean and orderly kitchen work areas throughout the shift- Wash, sanitize and store kitchen equipment, utensils and smallwares- Support the kitchen team with basic food prep tasks as assigned- Follow all food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standards
What we are looking for:- Reliable attendance and the ability to arrive on time for a 7:00am start- Comfort standing, walking, lifting and working in a fast-paced kitchen environment- Willingness to take direction and pitch in wherever the team needs help- Prior kitchen, dishroom or food service experience is helpful but not required
This is a steady daytime schedule with consistent weekly hours and overtime opportunity.
